While in Tonasket we decided to go camping! Many of you know that I am not a fan of camping, but when it involves a camper...I'm in! :)
We decided to camp out at Palmer Lake for a few days. Try to catch some fish, and a tan!
When we got our fishing licenses I didn't get a fresh water license, so the fish pictured in the blog are caught by my dad and Nick. I hate to say it.....but I think Nick only caught one or two fish. :) The fish on the left was caught right off of the shore (by my dad). Pretty cool!
We hung out on the shore, and on the boat. The boys were catching fish, and the girls were reading.
We were pleasantly surprised when the Zink's (my parents neighbors) showed up to join in on the fun! The unfortunate part was they got a flat tire on the way out to the lake, but thankfully the tire went flat right before getting to our camp site so my dad was put to work changing the tire! :)
Shortly after the Zink's arrived, our family friend Bubba (Uncle Bub) showed up to camp with us for a few nights.

We had a fabulous dinner with fish that the boys caught and fresh meat that the Zink's brought. Bubba passed on the fabulous dinner to go out and fish!
